Are you using Pressure2 or Pressure2 Dark?

Yes, I am using Pressure2 Dark.

Description of the issue.

The Steam Client bootstrapper cpu usage is always high and it doesn't close. And the UI lags.

Does it also occur on Steam without the skin installed?

No.

Are you in the Steam BETA? If so, does the issue occur when opted out of the BETA?

No.

What Operating System are you using? (Windows 10, Mac OSX 11.1, Linux, Ubuntu etc.)

Win10.

Are you using the latest stable release or using the latest commit version?

Yes.

When I use the default skin, steam client bootstrapper process will be terminated after steam finished launching. But it doesn't while I'm using Pressure2.

I have the same problem. on windows 10 x64 PRO, with the skin activated (the dark version, i didn't test the other), steam uses 10% of my CPU (i have a Ryzen 1600) and with the default skin it uses 0-0.4%.
I'm not in the Steam BETA, i use the latest Stable release.
The difference is that the UI doesn't lag in my case, but the issue seems to be CPU usage.

Same problem here, Windows 10 x64 PRO, Build 17134.376 on Intel Core i7 3770.
Using Steam (no beta) with Pressure2 Dark, Steam uses 13% CPU load and I got slight UI lags as well.

A similar issue on Windows 7 x64. When Steam window is opened, one CPU core is fully loaded with steam.exe process.

No issue with a default skin .

This bootstrapper "over-usage" seems to be coming from the call for the profile picture. I did a temp fix on another skin by just removing the call. I want to change it up again so I'll see if I can get a "fix" for this one soon.
