Online indicators broken with BetterDiscord 1.8.5

Describe the bug
Since the 1.8.5 update to the BetterDiscord Core, the online indicators don't show as coloured squares around the profile pics anymore. Instead, the show as coloured squares of various shapes and sizes without any apparent pattern.

To Reproduce
Update BetterDiscord to version 1.8.5 - no issues on 1.8.4

Was fixed for a while, unfortunately the exact same issue is back now... possibly an issue of BetterDiscord itself but I can't say
