My project was more into this VectorScope part because i thought there are already good VU/PPM meters out there. Think i never seen an application where i can choose from that many different level settings.

I am following you and expect my issue will be new feature in your project.
I am already your first beta tester.

I am 23 years working in the broadcast industry as system engineer and build studio, MCR, transmission and developing media workflow (software development) and now I am looking for audio tools (widgets) to enhanced the UI of the users not experimented in Audio ;-)

I can connect on most of the audio console with proprietary protocol and generate datamodel and would like to have now some UI like dolby 5.1, Loudness, what you did, ppm, equ, correlation, ...

Missing metering views but you understand why I need.

Now I am working on AoiP AES67, ravenna, Dante, Livewire, wheatnet, .... and other specifications, .... , routing and monitoring.

And my first picture I sent is because working with different sound engineer from different countries, always I have an issue for the representation of the PPM and loudness monitoring is Mandatory for audience monitoring to verify if audio level of ads is higher as the average.

Anyway, I found in React, electron, swift ios, other techno but me ONLY working Nodejs, typescript, javascript (convert to typescript) and angular 7 -> 8 with bootstrap not framework (need to be independant of any depedencies who kill your project) and raspberryPI in same language no python.

I am happy to me you and hope we will have good stuffs to do ;-)

Thanks for the pictures and additional background informations.

So we are talking about industrial reference grade, not just some fancy canvas HTML.
Something users can rely on.
There is a lot to do, while digging deeper it's getting more and more.
You wrote Dolby 5.1, so i guess we are talking about signals with 1-6 channels and 16-32bit, 44.1- 192kHz.
Right now i cannot give you any date or timeline but i see the need of having such multi level meter.

This UI is too complex for simple user not sound engineer.

The most important is a simple monitoring system where some reference could help the user to decide if the signal is respecting some rules that's all.

I don't need to rebiuld same UI, just the web designer (illustrator) will cost and spent time for nothing.

I am looking simplicity like your picture 👍

But in nodejs javascript or typescript ;-)

i did a small update and added correlation meter and vu meter.
Don't judge it too much. I just did some mandatory steps first.
You can now drop your own WAV or MP3. This should help in testing.
Do you have a set of audio test files by hand? Else i have to generate them.

I also updated https://drsnuggles.github.io/jsgoniometer/ to have a quick look at it.

thanks for the test signals now the calibrating war/work can begin. I pushed a new version.
Changed the colors but was more focused to get multichannel support running.
Actually i display 3 meters blue = peak, green = avg, red = rms. That's not final just to get used to all this signals :)

Next i want to include wavesurfer-js at bottom of screen to navigate in larger files and to quickly find critical spots where user should control levels.
