Stacked button selection

Hi,
I want to create a button with two other button stack on it and each button select a specific node.
Actually, even if I click on a top button, the button bellow is clicked too and it will select the target of my top button and also the target of the button bellow. I don't know if there is an alternative for this, or if this can be fixed....

I know that some picker rely on that behavior so I can't change it.
But I can add an optionnal behavior on each button.

Hi! While this feature is implemented I found a workaround that could help with this behavior. Add a left-click command to the button with this script:

maya.cmds.select(__targets__)

It looks like if a button has a command script the picker forces a single interaction.
