Essentially, typically a villager will lsoe a poi when they travel a significant distance, go through portals etc, but the POI is saved when the villager is picked up (this includes professions of untraded villagers, who will NOT reset when given a new workstation as they are still "bound" to theri original POI.
This means inability to graba bed/workstation, leading to an inability to refresh trades and or change professions, as well as breed.
Simple fix would be to place the villager with modified NBT to not have adata for POIs, as they will find them automatically nearby, this way you could still keep the trades and levels etc, but have POIs reset.
