Unsupported Characters in CMDR Name #547
Description
I recently went through a name change procedure with Frontier, and my new CMDR name has < and > signs in it. I noticed today that EDD says "Error sending EDSM events Commander name/API Key not found" when trying to send journal updates to EDSM, and I suspect this is why. I cannot enter these characters in the commander name box on the website either, which is what originally led me to suspect something was amiss.
