Notepad for IETF 120

We cannot collect many valuable comments in IETF 120 because we don't have much time to discuss FC-BGP in the session. The following comments are collected from the chatroom.

• John Scudder: FWIW, I just glanced over the SIDROPS charter and it looks to me like fcbgp would be out of charter. Would require a recharter, or something.
• Job Snijders: FCBGP probably should not recycle BGPsec code points either.
• Russ Housley: John. Agree
• John Scudder: I haven't read the spec, but "recycle code points" sounds a lot like "squat on code points" which would be... problematic.
• Chris Morrow: please do not do that
• Job Snijders: OIDs are cheap, fcbgp can easily get new ones
• Q Misell: the OIDs are free, you can just take them, I have 500 at home, etc \
