Goo.gl not working under Nextcloud 10.0.1

I installed Shorten v0.0.15 into my Nextcloud 10.0.1 server. I setup a goo.gl API and linked it. It did not work - no error message, nothing. I tried utilizing the fix from this post as well as integrated the change from #31 with no avail. When clicking the "Share Link" checkbox, it only shows the default URL, not the goo.gl redirection. There's nothing in any log.

The same for me with Nextcloud 10.0.1 and Nextcloud 10.0.2

I'm running snap version & tried
sed -i 's/#linkText/.linkText/g' js/script.js
in the appropriate directory - no luck.

changed shorten's admin.php:

"type" line to:
$tmpl->assign('type', OCP\Config::getAppValue('shorten', 'type', 'googl'));

changed "api" line to:
$tmpl->assign('api', OCP\Config::getAppValue('shorten', 'api', 'apikey'));

replacing apikey with my API key.

seems to work now.
