A far-right media channel Nova24TV in slovenian channel list #880
Description
The Slovenian channel list includes Nova24TV, a far-right media outlet with a documented history of spreading misinformation and fake news. The channel has been disputed by numerous fact-checking sources. One of them is Oštro, a Slovenian publicly funded fact checking news site, but you can find more in the References of the English Wikipedia article Nova24TV.
The media company behind the channel was previously ~88% owned by Hungarian companies believed to be closely related to Hungary's PM Viktor Orbán. Their share now is currnetly undisclosed and believed to be mostly owned by members of SDS (Slovenian Democratic Party), the far-right party that established it.
SDS is known for it's anti-immigration, anti-islamic and anti-semitic rhetoric, spreading lies about important politicians and individuals, defunding the Slovenian Press Agency and sowing division in media and state.
If more sources are needed to establish credibility, then I will try to provide them, though of course most of them are in Slovenian. I'm only writing this to alert you of this, given you philosophy in the README.
