I've had a request from one of our universities. They would like to hide all the vintage/obsolete OS classes from the profile download pages:
For example:
- Remove Windows 7 and Android 4.3-7 from the list
- Update the versions from 'MS Windows 8' to 'MS Windows 10' or 'MS Windows 11' (10 is probably more appropriate given that Windows 10 devices are still floating around), and updating the Android option to 'Android 12 and above' (we're now at Android 16 going on 17).
I would suggest that this might be organisation specific (maybe in the installer options, being able to select the ones you want to display, or the ones you want to hide)? Setting it on an organisation basis, it allows those still wanting to support old/vintage OSes to be able to do so.
Maybe this is something to bring to the development call. :-)
