Users of karoraa who are not aware of what the NSHM is and/or do not have a technical background in seismic hazard models want background information about what the model is. This type of information is not found on kororaa, but is linked to from the About page. However, this is not obvious from the kororaa landing page.
Re-design the landing page UI to make it obvious how to get background/less technical information.
From Matt G:
I have been talking to a very non-technical person who was wanting to understand the NSHM so they could talk to other people about it. It turns out they went to nshm.gns.cri.nz to learn about it and were not even aware of the other one. It would probably be good to figure out how to make it understood that this type of non-tech page is there and that the logo in the upper right goes to it. some sort of non-missable words on the front page I am thinking
