Automatically delete messages after a user defined time

Request:

Add a function that allows a users locally stored messages to be deleted from both the app and system database automatically after x period of time (perhaps similar predefined settings as signal).

I think this should be off by default.

QUIK sms has an implementation of this, but doesn't get rid of the messages from the system database.
