Description
This problem started happening after a recent Graphene OS update.
I have a Home Assistant instance, which I reverse proxy through a domain I own. I have configured the Home Assistant app to use my domain to connect to the Home Assistant GUI. The Home Assistant app uses Vanadium webview.
I have configured the DNS in my local network to point to the local IP of the home assistant instance. So when I'm on my wifi the app connects directly to that server instead of trying the external IP.
Recently, I've been having this problem I've never had before after an update. I will open the Home Assistant app and see a white screen for several seconds. Then it says it couldn't connect. If I choose the option to "refresh the external URL", it connects without issue. This only happens on my local wifi, and it's fairly consistent. Sometimes, very rarely, it will connect the first time without issue. But that's about 5% of the time.
So my only guess is when a Vanadium webview starts, it isn't properly querying the local DNS, or not waiting for it to resolve or something. I don't know. But I have the private DNS setting off.
