Current complevels (aside from vanilla) don't factor in things such as infinite height entities, which can break intended map progression among other things. It would be ideal if this port adopted ZDoom style "strict" complevels, for those who want the full intended vanilla experience.
Additional things to factor which would be nice is Final Doom style teleport height consideration if one of those wads are loaded, or to add a separate complevel for Final Doom specifically.
Semi-unrelated would be a toggle to disable port-specific enhancements like jumping, crouching, and free-aim on a single toggle, to force intended gameplay.
Documentation of "strict" complevel types is a bit outdated, but should be mostly similar across different mapping standards.
