Not working for Raspberry Pi 3

I tried to install this for Raspberry Pi 3, however the 4.4 kernel is no longer hardware compatible with so I had to use the latest kernel (Linux 4.14.34-v7+), with its header.

When the module loads this happens:

[  118.705658] nrf905: loading out-of-tree module taints kernel.
[  118.706553] nrf905_init

And there's only spidev0.1, no 0.0.

The rx doesn't work but gets stuck forever, although I have an Arduino with the same chip transmitting at the same frequency and address. Can you please update and test the driver on a Rpi3? That'll be much appreciated :)

I successfully installed the driver on a PI3 with the following setup:
sudo apt-get install linux-image-4.9.0-6-rpi2 linux-image-rpi2-rpfv linux-headers-rpi2-rpfv

• Downloaded driver code from this repo
• Compiling worked out to the box
• Changed the /boot/config.txt to the kernel above
• Kernel modul loaded
• /sys/bus/spi/devices/spi0.0/frequency is present
