Orpha Map

Hi all,

We would be interested to load the Orpha map on our Snowstorm server.
Wanted to know if possible and if yes what would be the way to add it to the international edition.
I didn't found any documentation about importing map and updating them even a new release come.

Hi Guillaume

The SNOMED CT to Orphanet map can be found in RF2 format in MLDS.

International derivative packages like the Orphanet map must be loaded into Snowstorm before an International Edition release.

Load the map onto MAIN without creating a codesystem version. Use this import configuration to setup the import:

Import any other derivatives that are needed using this configuration.

Once the derivatives are imported load the International Edition and do create a codesystem version with the following import configuration. The codesystem version that is created by the import process will contain the International Edition and the derivative.

This year a Snowstorm Syndication-Dashboard will be developed that will simplify this process.

Thanks for the Quick Reply.
Is there a way to load it on an edition that has already been loaeded (concretly on a production Snowstorm server, do you have to start from scratch every time you want to update the ORPHA mapping?) ? Or can I just load it on the existing MAIN and then overriding it again with the import of the Edition ? Would it work with a FULL type of import ?
