Description
Overview
To streamline our communication, we are moving all reporting to nine designated channels: A, N, D, R, O, I, D, plus two additional channels for priority and urgent issues. Team members will report daily in these channels, allowing clients to easily track progress and contributions related to the ANDROID system.
Key Features
- Designated Reporting Channels: Each channel (A, N, D, R, O, I, D) corresponds to a specific aspect of the Android system, facilitating focused discussions and updates.
- Priority and Urgent Channels: In addition to the seven main channels, introduce:
- Priority Tech Channel: For high-priority technical discussions.
- Urgent Tech Channel: For immediate technical issues requiring swift resolution.
- Devs Channel: Locker room concept
- Consolidated Reporting: All updates and discussions will now take place in the nine designated channels, ensuring a single source of truth for all communication.
- New Documentation: A new document will be provided to outline the purpose and expectations for each channel, making it easier for team members to understand their reporting responsibilities.
- Access for Stakeholders: Key stakeholders, will have access to a document (e.g. Confluence) that details these channels, promoting transparency and collaboration.
Action Items
- Transition all reporting to the designated channels immediately.
- Ensure that the new document is finalized and distributed by the end of the day. This initiative aims to eliminate communication gaps and enhance project visibility.
By adopting this consolidated approach, we aim to improve communication efficiency, keep everyone aligned, and enhance our overall development process.
