### U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) ## Program Overview The Build to Scale (B2S) program aims to increase the capacity of entrepreneurs in regions throughout the United States to demonstrate, deploy, and deliver new technologies by starting and growing new companies and creating and sustaining new, good jobs. ## Goals and Objectives EDA is committed to furthering technology- and innovation-based economic development initiatives that accelerate high-skill and high-wage job growth, create economic opportunity, and support the next generation of industry leading companies. Funding is available for organizations that aid companies in developing, demonstrating, and deploying new, emerging, and critical technologies. ## Cost Sharing and Matching Applicants must provide matching share equal to at least 50 percent of the total project cost, i.e., applicants must match each dollar requested with at least one dollar of applicant match.

A.N.D.R.O.I.D. Ops is a comprehensive operational framework designed to optimize business processes and drive efficiency, leveraging automation, digital technologies, and collaborative practices. It encompasses the following focus areas: Advancement: Streamline and automate repetitive tasks and processes, integrating digital tools and technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and promote scalability. Network: Foster collaboration and communication across departments and teams, leveraging digital platforms and technologies to enable real-time collaboration, virtual teamwork, and effective knowledge sharing. Design: Create optimized operational systems by aligning processes with organizational goals, customer needs, and sustainability principles, ensuring scalability, customer-centricity, and efficient resource utilization. Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify improvement areas, emerging trends, and innovative practices, utilizing data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality, utilizing performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress and identify opportunities for optimization. Implementation: Successfully execute optimized processes, leveraging automation, and digital technologies, while providing training and support to employees to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new practices. Delivery: Focus on delivering value to customers through efficient and effective operations, monitoring customer feedback, measuring satisfaction, and making necessary adjustments to enhance the delivery process. The A.N.D.R.O.I.D. Ops framework integrates sustainability, scalability, collaboration, risk management, customer-centricity, change management, digital transformation, employee empowerment, and performance metrics into each stage of the operational lifecycle.
