Hello,

A UNC researcher notes that most dataset metadata fields identify contributors in the format lname, fname. The "contributor" column of the versions tab, however, uses fname lname. Is this intentional, and/or should they match?

RDMC should be able to submit a pull request depending on consensus.

Hey @donsizemore. I think it's intentional that the "contributor" column of the versions tab, the names are in the format fname lname, or in other words that it's not a bug. We haven't expect those names to be in the format lname, fname.

This is the first time I've heard this brought up. Do you know what the UNC researcher does with those names in the "contributor" columns? I think it might be helpful to learn how they noticed the difference and if and why changing the format would help them.
