During the voting of 19166 on the 2025-11-06 some issues for proposed changes regardig Annex A. These changes was classified as technical by the submitter and thus deferred for future consideration.

• General comment
  The order of annex A to E should be organized according to the order of their references.

• Clause A.1
  We are sharing some general comments to be considered in the B2GM from the user’s perspective and the use case of “using BIM as a source for updating cartographic databases exploited in GIS.”:

1. It is important to include in the B2GM the version of the IFC schema used in the geographic information mapping (2x3, 4.3, etc.).
2. The data date should also be transferred as an attribute from BIM to GIS, reflecting the moment when the project was executed, in order to decide whether or not it is appropriate to use the BIM data to update an existing topographic map.
3. Elements coming from BIM should include an attribute indicating whether that element—roof, balcony, window, etc.—is part of the building’s exterior envelope.
   When Table 1 in BM5 refers to generalization, are you referring to the external envelope in the case of a building? We propose incorporating into BM5 (optional) the concept of “External envelope” in addition to Association, Dependency and Generalization.
