- MediaEval 2026 website and task description
- Code, workflows, images, results, and more from NewsImages 2025
- Instructions for writing working notes papers
- Registration website (mandatory for all participating teams)
- NewsImages 2025 workshop proceedings (papers that describe the workflows)
- ...and of course this NewsImages 2026 repository
- Please look at the 2025 GitHub repository, the 2025 workshop proceedings, and/or do a web search before sending us your question.
- The support is done via Slack (details will be sent to all registered teams).
- For the challenge, we accept only open-source, fully reproducible solutions. No online services. The workflow must run locally. If you do not provide code, then we cannot accept your paper.
- “Quest for Insight” submissions can use any resources. However, they are not able to take part in the challenge itself (no place on the leaderboard, so submission of runs).
- We want to keep a broad scope and welcome all types of contributions (put that on the website). We encourage people to participate in the event even if they do not have a technical background.
