Minimum program that doesn't terminate immediately?

I wanted to look at 268 in a debugger, but pressing F11 in Visual Studio just makes it terminate immediately. Is it possible to make a version that doesn't terminate immediately?

Are you trying to examine the exe or reassemble the asm file? Either way, you may not be able to step through it because it has two program instructions, the rest of the file is part of the exe file format and is used by the Windows loader, that's an OS level process that occurs before the program itself begins to run.
