Unchanging screen on my Dell and Lenovo computers

On my Lenovo computer, it only shows a black screen and does nothing, and does not respond to user input. On the Dell computer, it shows the Dell logo, but, other than that, it does nothing. Is there something wrong with my computer? It recognizes it as a boot device. Or am I doing it wrong?

Update: the Dell computer rebooted a few minutes after I stepped away.

Another update: my usb drive got hot so maybe that's the problem

The USB seems to work fine, as deliberately messing up the boot folder name doesn't seem to change anything except remove it from the boot list.

Same happens on my ASUS laptop (I don’t mind making it a lab mouse).
On a VM (KVM, same problem), one core was running at 100%.

The same for me on my old Lenovo T430s. It does start with qemu in efi mode but it freezes, which I guess is at least better.
I know there are multiple versions of the EFI spec. Maybe SpaceGame uses a version that is "too recent".

My Ryzen 9 9950x build it is just stuck here

Specs:

• Ryzen 9950x
• ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI
• 64GBs RAM DDR5
• RX 6800 (doubt relevant)

Update: fixed it, I forgot ddcutil completely fucked my monitors edid and made it think it's native resolution is 640x480. The solution is to unplug your monitors power and plug it back in... Fuck you Dell

Regardless, the game is quite crashy but pretty neat or it could be a softlock as the numbers still update
