Add content about file types #9
Description
I recently made a presentation on file types and think this and other related information would be useful to share. Would fit well in the data section.
Should include:
- Why gene names don't play well with excel
- How to look at files (ie text edit/command line, not word).
- How to name files (no spaces)
- What different extensions mean (.gz, ,.tar, etc)
- References from presentation.
