Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using BuzzChat ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

BuzzChat is a browser extension that automates chat messages on live selling platforms. Features include:

  • Automatic welcome messages for new viewers
  • Timed promotional messages
  • FAQ auto-replies based on keyword triggers
  • Quick message templates

3. Important Disclaimer

3.1 Not Affiliated with Any Platform

BuzzChat is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any live selling platform. This is an independent third-party tool.

3.2 Use at Your Own Risk

By using this Extension, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for all messages sent by the bot
  • You must comply with your platform's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Automated messaging may violate some platforms' terms of service
  • Your account may be restricted or suspended as a result of using automated tools
  • We make no guarantees about the safety of your account

3.3 Platform Changes

Platforms may change at any time, which could cause the Extension to stop working. We are not responsible for any disruption caused by platform changes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in a manner that:

  • Does not violate your platform's Terms of Service
  • Does not spam or harass other users
  • Does not send misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content
  • Does not impersonate others
  • Does not attempt to circumvent rate limits or restrictions

4.1 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use the Extension to:

  • Conduct scams or fraudulent activities
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with any platform's servers

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides limited functionality with usage restrictions.

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions (Pro, Business) are billed monthly through ExtensionPay
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
  • Refunds are handled according to ExtensionPay's refund policy

5.3 Trial Period

  • New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of Pro features
  • Trial may only be used once per user
  • No credit card required for trial

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all code, designs, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Extension's code
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Extension
  • Remove any copyright notices or branding

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Warranty

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7.2 Limitation of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA
  • ACCOUNT SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
  • PLATFORM CHANGES THAT AFFECT FUNCTIONALITY

7.3 Maximum Liability

OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE EXTENSION IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Extension developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Extension
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any platform's terms or policies
  • Content you send using the Extension

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

9.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Extension immediately ceases. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Extension developers.

10.2 Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

10.4 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.5 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
