Readme mentions an example app, but the example is not on master branch

On the master branch of the library, I do not see the example app.

Why did the example app get deleted?
If there was a valid reason, then can the README be updated?

It will be back soon. We have some ongoing work to modernise this package, and as part of that the example will be updated!
