Setting up custom timer on the microphone to pause after the user completes it speech

Hi , I noticed an issue which could be an enhancement to this bug. There is currently no custom timer to put while speaking on the microphone such that after this time the microphone will close (stop) automatically even if the user tries to speak during or after that. The current(default) setting only allows the microphone to stay awake for 2-3 seconds , after that it closes automatically.
