Address this Your master branch isn't protected GitHub message

1. there may already be an issue for this that is meant to addrss this issue across all of my repos.
   However I am not aware of any other repos having this issue AND I know this is is having this issue.

Now that I have created a dev branch, that warning is no longer appearing.
