ZBrush 2026.1 - problem with backing model from Blender

Hello.
I noticed problems with properly work with newest ZBrush 2026.1. I can send models from ZBrush to Blender but can't back them from Blender to ZBrush.

It worked well with previous version ZBrush 2026.0.1

Could you help us?

If you go to the GoZ directory and launch the GoZ file it does open in ZBrush correctly, so It seems ZBrush is just not automatically loading it for some reason, might be a ZBrush issue rather than a GoB issue. I can't find info if it's happening for other software though. Maybe if someone has max or maya they can test for us?

Edit: Got one report from a helpful stranger that it's working fine with 3ds max.

Ok, I posted this in discord also but for visibility i will repeat here that the issue seems to be that GoB is failing to run the "GoZBrushFromApp.exe", if I run the exe manually everything gets imported correctly.

Can also use this as a work around for now, you find the exe in C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZBrush. Hit the GoB export in blender, then run this exe and it will load everything in ZBrush.

Edit: Ok ignore all that, I don't think GoB actually uses that exe at all. Turns out problem is that 2026.1 moved some folders that the import ZScript relied on being in a certain place. I have made a fork of this project with a fix that seems to work, though it is probably not the most elegant soloution, and I don't know if it works for mac. If people want to test it you can find it on my profile.
