@SimonSPD the problem seems still to persist. Tested on main branch using nanoAOD_v9 with /DYJetsToLL_1J_TuneCP5_13TeV-amcatnloFXFX-pythia8/RunIISummer20UL18NanoAODv9-106X_upgrade2018_realistic_v16_L1v1-v1/NANOAODSIM sample

Perhaps it would also be beneficial if there is an option to update all files that contain filelists with the xsec and genweight information from dataset.json, since there seems to be many mismatches, i.e. with xsec in the above-mentioned sample.
