Description:
For hardware flows that support multiple add mediums (e.g., QR, File, NFC), we currently do not show an explicit Skip Health Check option. Instead, users can close the modal, which was assumed to be equivalent to skipping.
However, closing the modal and skipping are not the same and have different meanings. -
Problem:
- Closing the modal only indicates: “I don’t want to do this right now.”
- Skipping the health check has two distinct meanings:
a. The user does not want to perform the health check now.
b. The user wants to manually confirm/approve the hardware without running the health check.
- Currently, by only allowing the modal to be closed:
- Users cannot explicitly indicate that they want to manually approve the hardware.
- This behavior is inconsistent with other hardware flows (e.g., CC), where an explicit Skip option exists.
- Expected Behavior:
- Provide a clear and explicit Skip Health Check option for hardware with multiple add mediums.
- Skipping should:
- Allow users to manually confirm/approve the hardware.
- Be distinct from simply closing the modal.
