Rebinding Wii U pro controller not working

When I first installed the program, it worked flawlessly. It then worked without issue for a few more times afterwards. However, recently, I can no longer seem to get my computer to recognize the inputs as a 360 controller? I tried reinstalling it twice to no effect. What's weirder is that the inputs are recognized within WiinUPro itself, but external programs like Steam can't seem to see said inputs.
