Can't be opened on macOS Catalina 10.15.6

Downloaded the latest release from github, moved it to my Applications folder, when trying to open the following error message appears:

"ClockBar.app" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Can be bypassed by overriding the security settings.
