Cannot open image-zip Polyglot.

When I open it as an image, it works fine, but when I try to open it as a zip this happens.

Windows cannot open the folder.
The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'C:\Users\user\Downloads\polyglot-image-zip-1764481650870.zip' is invalid.

Thanks for bringing this up.

The file stores the image first and the ZIP second. Windows Explorer only works when the ZIP header (PK\x03\x04) is at the very beginning, so it refuses to open it even though the file itself is valid.

Temporarily you can use the following methods-

• Use command-line tools that can locate the ZIP header usually, "unzip file-name" works, but sometimes it doesn't work on windows.
• Use 7-Zip or
• Use WinRAR

The file opens as an image everywhere, but just got to know that Windows Explorer is strict about ZIP placement.

I’ll add a separate ZIP-first variant so Windows Explorer users can extract the ZIP normally, and then close this issue.
