Conditional Display - Duplicating Answers

When either adding a new conditional display with "enableWhen condition and behavior" or uploading a current form with conditional displays, the answer selections are duplicating, causing an error. For example, in the images below, if I select 7. Other - the form builder adds it as "Other (other)" and therefor does not recognize the answer option.

Thanks for reporting the problem. We are looking into it.

We are working on fixing it. If you need a workaround in the meantime, fill in the fields for system and code in the answer list of the source item.

Hmm, you may be looking at the 'Conditional Method'/'Conditional Display' field?

To fix the issue, you need to update the answer list on the source question of the condition. From the above picture, that source question is '1.2 - Do you have any...'.

To edit the question, you have to load it into the item editor. Click 1.2 item in the side bar to edit the item. You should see the answer list in the 'Answer Choices' field.

It should have a table with System, Display, Code and Score columns. You should be able to fill in those fields.

Thank you for the reply. No - I am looking at the source question. I have not used a code system for the answer list in the example. I can fill in those columns (ie, system, code, and source) but a coding system is not always used or there is not always an answer concept available for what is needed. I have had no trouble in the past leaving these fields blank (ie, system, code, and source) and only using the Display field for custom answer choices.

It is not a requirement to fill system and code. it is a bug introduced recently that is causing the error.

I was suggesting to fill those fields as a workaround for the problem. You could make up some custom system and custom codes if you can, but if that is not something helpful to you, unfortunately we have to wait until the bug is fixed.

The issue has been fixed in Form Builder version 11.0.6.
