Resizing the window breaks the canvas

It seems like when I resize or maximize the window, the image gets resized but the actual canvas where you see the image does not resize. As a result, I get a pixelated or stretched image in the top-left corner of the window.

Thank you very much for your time, for your help and for the screenshot.
I have another problem: I didn't get exiv2 in flatpack so the "info" button is now empty.
This was just a small slideshow, to discover the process of submitting an application, perhaps it's time to give up with this.
I'll try better ideas. Anyway you made a great work with this version of elementary.
