Mention how there is not predefined pace of learning that everyone has to follow.
Every learner moves at their own pace. As long as they are in their stretch zone.

Good analogy: If the goal is for you to gain the skill of being able to touch your toes without bending your knees (getting a job), we don't have a schedule by which you should be able to do that. Our hypothesis is that you should start where you are, have good form, and stretch in the direction of our toes without being too comfortable or tearing a muscle. With time, you'll get there. AND you'll learn how to stretch in any other direction you choose.
