Make host view use AJAX for reloading

The host view pulls in the same data as the regular check-in view but should be polling for data updates automatically

I suggest a regular setInterval that fetches the data and updates the view. Does it make sense to make the interval configurable (from 10 sec to 60 sec or alike)?

Without configuration, the task should be done in 30 minutes. With configuration, I estimate 45 minutes.
