+Sukru Aras, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in statistics and biostatistics. He holds an MD from Istanbul University, a residency in Biochemistry, and a PhD in Nutrition, bringing a uniquely interdisciplinary foundation to quantitative science. With over two decades of experience in biostatistics and data analytics, he has conducted more than 1,000 statistical analyses supporting scientific and clinical research across a broad range of medical disciplines — including pediatric neurodevelopment, critical care, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, congenital heart disease, and maternal health. His methodological expertise spans study design, statistical analysis planning, survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, and machine learning. He actively contributes to NIH- and foundation-funded research projects and has authored peer-reviewed publications bridging clinical medicine and advanced statistical methodology.
