The rest of a comment that contains three dots somewhere in it appears differently (e.g. gray) with syntax highlighting, including the closing comment brackets.

Example: the dots themselves and the comment bracket after (* 2021-06-15 new**... )* and the bold part here: (* **...2021-06-15 new *) **
