[Bug] Loading Texturepacks Causes White Screen

Bug description

When switching texture packs in the latest version, the screen will flash white for a second when loading or exiting a world.

To Reproduce

1. Download the Latest Version
2. Load any world with any Texture Pack besides the default minecraft art.
3. The Screen should flash white once before showing the loading screen, and occasionally once after it finished loading.
4. Leave the world, the screen should flash white once again before taking you back to the main menu

Expected behavior

The game should switch texture packs without causing the screen to completely white momentarily?
