No space left on device

Hi,
I keep getting the error: "could not write block 548468 of temporary file: No space left on device."
I have 50 GB of free space on my hard drive.
Do I need to adjust a setting in Postgres to allow it to use more of that space?
Or do I need to clear a specific part of my hard drive?

I would dig around on there and see if any of the proposed solutions work. If not, we can go through it tomorrow or Tuesday during office hours.
