The game crashes

Hello, I have a problem, when I enter the fire cave, to do the exam, the game crashes.

I got the same crash immediately after installing demaster, with no other mods. This is the last output before the game crashes.

The problem occurs because the png textures are missing. In fact there are two types of files, .dds and .png.
My problem was that the .png files were missing but only the .dds were present. By deleting the .dds that did not have their .png counterpart, the game no longer crashed. However, the backgrounds were not in HD. Patience, at least I can continue with the game.
For example in your case I see that bghall_1_0_0.png is missing, go to the DEMASTER_EXP\textures\field_bg\bg\bghall_1\ folder and delete the bghall_1_0_0.dds file. Do this for all the missing textures, then the game will not crash anymore, however it will not be at that exact point, where you arrived, in HD.
