Meshbits/komodod build issue

He's reported the following behaviour with komodod extracted from the package:

With Ubuntu:18.04

$ ./komodod

./komodod: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by ./komodod)
./komodod: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.26' not found (required by ./komodod)

With Ubuntu:20.04, it works without an issue.

Also, komodod from https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/komodo/releases/download/0.6.1/komodo_linux_0.6.1.tar.gz works without any issues on Ubuntu:18.04. Validate this on both 18.04 and 20.04 Ubuntu versions.

Testing binaries build using Ubuntu 16.04:

cd /tmp && wget -c https://github.com/Meshbits/komodo/releases/download/release_buildv0.59_0.6.1/komodo_linux_v0.59.zip && unzip komodo_linux_v0.59.zip

Above is working for this komodod build version in both ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 but still requires installation of libgomp1.

Need to evaluate https://stackoverflow.com/questions/27688778/how-to-link-libgomp-statically-when-linking-other-libraries-dynamically after work.
