"Normal" screen is scretched to 16:9 aspect ratio

Hi,

I assumed that having "Settings/Screen" set to "Normal", I would get a 4:3 output with black borders on the left and right while "Wide" would give me a streched 16:9 output.

However, "Normal" is streched here to 16:9 and "Wide" always shows a strange purple border on the left. Furthermore on my LG FullHD monitor, with "Wide" the image stays in 16:9 while on a BenQ 4k screen, the aspect ratio might be 4:3 but the image is aligned left with a black border on the right.

Is this a bug or did I miss something?

Answering myself: Yes, I did miss that the core "only" outputs 800x576@50Hz and that it might depend on the monitor if the image is streched or not. While TVs might have an option to change the aspect ratio, I have not see this option yet on a modern computer monitor.
Nevertheless, having an option for (maybe integer-scaled) output on FullHD (or 4K) with correct aspect ratio would be preferred.
