I tried a basic sorting using various ingots in a chest, followed by an item extractor and an item pipe that ran along four item tranfers with a chest at the end. I set up each transfer for a specific ingot excluding brick. I put brick and each of the ingots in the first chest. The #1 item transfer for the first one was set up for copper ingots and it put brick in the bin, the #2 next was lead, which put copper in the bin. Then #3 silver ingots, which put silver ingots in the bin. Then #4 dawnstone, which put copper in the bin. Last #5 was iron which put silver in the bin. I double checked I have the orientation right and each item transfer set to a specific item. Nothing went in the chest. I took the ingots out of #2's bin and it put in dawnstone, which I took out, and then it put in lead, then again copper, when it was suppose to be lead.
This was on version 1.12.2 and forge 14.23.4.2747
