Building JupyterLab is stuck at

Step 18/29 : COPY  --chmod=755 ["entrypoint.sh", "/"]
the --chmod option requires BuildKit. Refer to https://docs.docker.com/go/buildkit/ to learn how to build images with BuildKit enabled

what version of docker are you on?

Also, what does the following command report?

docker info | grep -i buildkit
