Can't tweet anything starting today

Description

I've been using NeoFreeBird v2.0r2 since last year. Most of the features work without issues. Starting from this morning I can't post anything from the client except retweets with no quotes. I'm currently signed into two accounts, and none of the accounts are able to post. My accounts are not locked or suspended, since I can post normally on the web page.

Steps to reproduce

Click the post button. Write anything. Set any visibility. Click post, then the post is rejected by the server.

Expected behavior

Should create a new post.

They've implemented attestation to Tweeting. Unless we use web APIs, which I have no idea how to, we're fucked.

I know this might take a while to fix
But how about a “reply” button on every tweet that opens your web browser in this specific post so you can reply and then go back to the app?
At least we could still use the app features and wait a proper fix

Do we know anything at all about how the attestation works?? My friend managed to replicate the X-Client-Transaction-ID header required for web requests in PHP, but I'm not sure if that's similar at all. From what I know, it isn't.

Back when they implemented attestation on login, you guys were acting like it was the end of the world... surely it can't be that bad, right?

We haven't fixed log in. We can't fix anything server sided.

My friends have done work on alternative YouTube clients such as Rehike and V3. Part of this process is going through hell and back to make sure the client can generate a correct potoken and whatnot to keep videos playable. Is Twitter's attestation really worse than this? Sorry if I come across as ignorant, but that's exactly what I am. I'm just trying to understand the gravity of this.

YouTube has no attestation. Unlike Twitter, YouTube is ran by decent people who after they got backlash for trying to implement attestation, reverted it. This is, as I said, server sided, and the only way for us to solve this is to piggyback of the web APIs, which will take a while for me to learn how to do and I can't promise it leading anywhere.
