Application Grafana dashboard #7454
Description
We have metrics and logs provided by NS8 applications and we want to automatically organize and display them in the Grafana instance of the core Metrics app.
For example, Samba File Server has a PostgreSQL DB with share access audit trace and needs an UI to search audit events.
Proposed solution
In the Core Metrics application, implement an action that applications can invoke to push the desired Dashboard and Data Source configuration.
Alternative solutions
As alternative to the above "push approach", Metrics can pull the Dashboard configuration from Applications when some event is triggered by individual app instances.
