Introduction:
After restoring a backup of the NethVoice module on NethServer 8, physical phones such as Yealink SIP-T44U fail to register automatically with the PBX system. The devices remain unprovisioned and are unable to connect until the module is manually reconfigured from the web interface.
Steps to reproduce
- Perform a backup of the NethVoice module.
- Restore the backup on a target system,
- Connect physical phones (e.g., Yealink SIP-T44U) to the PBX.
- Check the registration status of the phones.
- Reconfigure the Nethvoice module from the web interface and observe if the phones register.
Expected behavior
Physical phones should automatically re-register and provision after restoring the NethVoice module backup, without requiring manual reconfiguration.
Actual behavior
After restoring the backup, physical phones do not register with the PBX system. Only after manual reconfiguration of the module through the interface do the phones successfully register and provision.
